Milk does a Garden Good
Milk does a garden good , may not be the phrase we grew up with. However, it holds truth in both aspects. Who would have thought milk does your body good and your gardens.
We have all been told our whole lives how milk has so many health benefits for us all like vitamins and calcium. However, milk also has the ability to improve your soil’s health. By simply absorbing the fats and vitamins within the milk, your soil will retain said nutrients. Keeping them available for your next round of crops or as a simple fertilizer boost. Watering down your milk helps to avoid any smells and spreads the nutrients across your garden beds. Even powdered milk can be applied directly onto your soil. Doing so prior to a rain allows nature to do the diluting for you.
Milk is also known to help prevent fungal diseases when a diluted product is applied topically. Spray the mixture on the leaves and effected areas, wiping them with a clean cloth. Repeating the process every couple of days depending on the severity. You can also use this recipe as a preventative measure in the beginning of your season, as well as at the first sight of any white film on your plants. In areas of direct sunlight, milk is known to take on antiseptic like properties, acting as a natural alternative to bleach.

Indigenous communities are a perfect example of using the whole animal for a multitude of different things.
